Animal welfare is a core part of how we farm. We work closely with our milk suppliers to ensure animals are well cared for, handled responsibly and supported to live healthy, low-stress lives. Animal welfare is central to producing high-quality milk. Good welfare is not separate from good farming but fundamental to producing quality milk.
All suppliers are required to meet Kinisla’s Animal Health and Welfare Policy, alongside FAWAC animal and calf welfare guidelines and the ICOS Calf Welfare Charter. These standards set clear expectations for animal health, comfort and natural behaviour across our farms.
